Welcome to Ft George Island Surf Shop!!!  Located in the 43,000 acre Timucuan Nature Preserve, nestled on the north mouth of the St. Johns River. 

 A core surf and kayak shop that has progressed over the last 30 years from what started out as a hardcore surf shop to a "multi-faceted Surf Shop and U.S. Post Office."  Specializing in servicing an array of customers - from the young rippers to the most seasoned masters -  with top clothing and shoe lines, a very extensive Surfboard classics collection, Kayaks for the flat days and a Surfboard Room housing 6 to 10 Foot Boards (New & Used).  And of course all the accessories needed for surfing & kayaking or just a day at the beach.

Our updated daily surf report is free by calling 904-251-WAVE (9283).  Checked each morning by 9:00 am by Jim (an avid surfer & owner of Ft George Island Surf Shop) at Huguenot Park AKA 'The Jetties' off Heckscher Drive located 1/2 mile from Ft George Island Surf Shop.  

Our hours are 9-5 Sunday To Saturday - Staying Late As Needed.
